Footloose Synopsis :

'Footloose' er en genindspilning af det klassiske danse-drama fra 1984 om undertrykte teenagere i en lille by. I 'Footloose' følger vi den unge fyr Ren MacCormack, der flytter fra Boston til den lille by Bomont, hvor han får sig noget af et kulturchok. Det viser sig nemlig, at Bomont et par år forinden blev ramt af en frygtelig ulykke, der kostede fem teenangere livet efter en bytur. Derfor besluttede den højt respekterede præst Shaw Moore og det lokale byråd at forbyde høj musik og dans. Ren vil dog ikke ligge under for forbuddet, så han sætter byen på den anden ende, mens han forelsker sig i præstens ulykkelige datter.
